We set out to create a multiuser, live art installation, which let visitors transform themselves into particle avatars. The project was part of the Broadgate 'Sense Of Space' pop-up.
Visitor presence brought the dormant figures to life when in front of the screen. Player movement and gestures caused showers of dazzling particles and beams of colour to explode across the screen.
A bespoke double back projection-screen installation, running on our PlayKit software for sensor-driven interactives.
Our PlayKit software allows for rapid development of avateering applications, in this case using Kinect.
Over a 1000 visitors per day went to the 'Sense Of Space' event.
The project was completed over 6 weeks.
