Bringing LEGO to Life with Augmented Reality
In collaboration with Snapchat, seeper designed and built a virtual store in 3D for LEGO Wear’s new adult clothing line. This interactive experience features animated Minifigures, transforming what seems like an empty store into a bustling virtual shop. Shoppers can scan a special Snapcode to reveal the augmented LEGO store, complete with interactive animated shoppers and staff, as well as a link to purchase the merchandise from the online store.
Aims
The objective was to create a unique and engaging shopping experience that blends the physical and digital worlds. By leveraging Snapchat’s AR technology, seeper aimed to attract LEGO enthusiasts and fashion-forward consumers, making the shopping experience innovative, fun, and highly shareable.
Insights
Initially, the plan was to create a basic virtual store, but through creative development, we incorporated interactive elements and animated Minifigures that bring the LEGO brand to life. The result is an immersive shopping experience that captivates users and encourages them to explore and interact with the virtual environment.

The LEGO Wear AR experience was unveiled at a one-day pop-up store in Soho, London, during London Fashion Week 2019, garnering significant media attention and praise.
