A Night to Remember
To mark the 100th anniversary of the Titanic’s sinking and the opening of the Titanic Belfast visitor centre, Seeper created a 45-minute spectacle of 3D motion graphics, pyrotechnics, and bespoke sound design. Our custom seeserver projection mapping software was used for the first time on this project, achieving the most complex projection mapping to date across the iconic building’s six facades.
Aims
Our goal was to commemorate the Titanic’s centennial and celebrate the opening of the Titanic Belfast visitor centre with a memorable and immersive event. Collaborating with local historians, we crafted a captivating story through advanced 3D motion graphics, synchronised pyrotechnics, and bespoke sound design. This event also marked the debut of our seeserver projection mapping software, tailored for this complex project.
Insights
This project showcased Seeper’s technical and creative prowess, achieving a sophisticated projection mapping display on one of the world’s most intricate building surfaces. With 60,000 attendees in Belfast and hundreds of thousands watching online, the event highlighted our ability to blend historical storytelling with cutting-edge technology, creating a truly unforgettable experience. Our collaboration with partners like Belfast Council and AMD Graphics was instrumental in bringing this ambitious project to life.
